An initiative of Health and Development of the Tribal, Nomadic and Underprivileged Communities.

India is a land of many cultures. The integrity of this huge country is formed by the diverse life style of several communities. Therefore every community living here constantly strives for the greatness of this country. Consequently in the construction of the heritage of India there will be contribution from communities belonging to all the strata of the society. However with respect to the development of living standards the lower strata have not received expected fruits.
Seventy five years have passed since the country attained independence. Our country has been declared as a ‘welfare’ state. The five year plans, annual budgets and special development programmes have been formulated for the development of the communities in the lower strata. But these communities have not attained expected development in the last seven decades.
The knowledge tradition created by these toiling communities through the experiences gained from daily experiences is very rich. The marginalized communities who gave birth to such a knowledge tradition have remained till now without socio-economic empowerment. The tribal people in the forests, the nomadic people and the lower strata though deprived of power in material life have played invaluable role in the creation of culture in India. But they remain backward socially and economically.
To strive for the uplifment of the lower strata communities of our society in social and health sectors. For this training needs to be offered for the youths of the respective communities and through this to empower the lower strata communities to ensure their development themselves.
There are many problems in procuring constitutional facilities for the lower strata communities of our society. The lower strata communities are to get empowered to achieve equality in educational, health, social and economic sectors. For this efforts are to be made for the success and progress of the weak and communities that are weak and socially and economically lower strata communities.
The main aim of our foundation is the development and health improvement of the tribal, nomadic people and the communities of the lower strata. Along with this another important aspect is studies in the knowledge traditions of the tribal people. There is also the aim of studying the life styles of these communities and carrying out applied research.
In these days the development of the tribal, the nomadic and the lower strata communities has assumed great importance. Because these marginalized communities will be able to overcome malnutrition only when they achieve economic or material development. economic self-reliance has to become the basic goal here. Those communities that are able to get basic facilities become self-reliant and achieve development. With this end in view our organization is being established to provide health improvement and developmental programs to the tribal and nomadic communities.
In Karnataka, Institutions that have taken up extension activities keeping the nomadic and lower strata communities in the centre are rare. Also such communities rarely get constitutional facilities. Our trust will now work as a link of communication between the government and the lower strata communities. Additionally our institution will seriously involve in the academic progress of the lower strata communities by starting educational institutions. The said institution will work as the representative of the exploited and economically weak lower strata communities.
